14 of us went for my birthday, we did the 1 hour trail ride and cookout. We had such an amazing time! The cowboys and cowgirls that worked there were amazing. They matched us up with a horse that would best fit each person. The horses were healthy the place was clean. Trail ride was fun. When we went back they cooked us up some amazing steaks,baked potatoes,beans and a salad. Everything tasted amazing. Then they built us a fire and we had s'mores . We were also allowed to bring a cooler of drinks
We booked a sunset ride and the horses were all saddled and ready to go when we got there. My 4 year old daughter rode with me and my 6 year old son rode on his own horse behind the guide. My son's horse was a nice, docile, 25 year old gelding. That was perfect since he was happy to just follow the horse in front! My husband also road on a horse with us. Both our horses were pregnant! We got to ride on some fun trails that were clearly horse and hiking trails. We started off on a street road to lead to gated hiking trails in the Park. Our guide's horse had never been on a trail ride before and there were a few times that there were a battle of wills between the two of them, but she handled the horse well and we had no incidents. All the other horses behaved very well. It was a beautiful sunset and we truly enjoyed YHWH's creation! We felt Him and the presence of his angels with us!

Our guide, Rudy, was very informative and fun! He took pictures of us on our ride. We were very well-matched with horses and even though this was my first time riding, I felt super comfortable! Great job-- we had so much fun!
